You are on the website of the Allanté-XLR Chapter of the Cadillac LaSalle Club (National) and the Chicagoland Allanté-XLR Club (Regional). The Allanté-XLR Chapter was organized in January of 2003 as the National Group for the Allanté and XLR automobiles built by Cadillac. We have associated ourselves with the Cadillac LaSalle Club (CLC) because they have many additional things to offer and are established with 7,000 members.
The Chapter continues to grow and has members from around the world reaching such places as Europe and Australia. "The Two-Seater" is the bi-monthly newsletter which provides members with news on Chapter events as well as CLC events. Stories about our members and reports on past events are highlights of every issue. There are technical tips on how to repair unique problems that occur and information on where to locate those "hard-to-find" parts. The newsletter has something for everyone. We also have regional chapters around the country with events to attend all year long.
The Chicagoland Allanté-XLR Club (CAXC) is regional and encompasses Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana and Michigan. It was formed in November of 1996 and has grown to become the largest regional group in the country. Although local, we still have members from coast-to-coast and border-to-border. The CAXC provides a bi-monthly newsletter known as the "Allanté Events" that is full of information that local members will enjoy. There are monthly breakfast meetings, dinners, tech sessions, socials and weekend trips.
I encourage you to join either club or both clubs! It's a social and financial investment that you won't regret! Please click on the Join/Renew page for a membership application to either club.
Till next time... keep Allanté-ing & XLR-ing!
