Where has the year gone? Winter is upon us and most of us have parked or stored our cars for the winter.
Our Club has gone though many changes this year. We worked hard on setting up our Club bylaws. This will give the Club structure and guide lines for operating the Club going forward.
We have held monthly Members meetings, Club Outings and Road Trips.
We ended this year with our Club Christmas Party, organized by member Joe Russo. Joe did a great job and the Party was enjoyed by all. Thank you Joe!
After the Christmas lunch and door prizes Club Service Awards were presented to five deserving Club Members. The Mark Dahl Award was presented to three members for their outstanding service to the Club as follows; Wlater Bochenek for his service and his always positive attitude, for his work with our tech sessions and organizing our upcoming Italy Trip, Neil Jeffersen for his hard work as Secretary and Membership Chairman, always up for any challenge that presents itself, and Denny Backis for keeping our Club website up to date and for putting together the Allante Invitational / 28th Street Cruise event.
The Bob Klopfer Award was presented to Ray Signorine for all his hard work and service to the Club always going above and beyond, Ray has recently stepped down as Club Treasure and we will miss him in that position; however he will still be an active member of the Club many thanks for a job well done, and to Terry Bressler for taking over when Bob Klopfer could no longer do so and stepping up to run the club for the next three years. All the award recipients were very deserving and they all worked very hard to make our Club a success.
Our February 2018 members meeting will be a social and planning session to fill in our 2018 calendar. Remember our Club Motto, “It’s not just the car, it’s the People”. You can have a voice in what we do in 2018, come the planning session we need everyone’s help to make our Club the best!
Looking forward to seeing you in 2018!
